„positiv: sehr grosses geräumiges Zimmer mit eigener Terrasse; bequeme Betten; sehr gutes W-Lan; Kühlschrank im Zimmer; gutes Frühstück; ausreichend viele kostenlose Parkplätze; toller Spa Bereich mit Gym, Pool, Sauna usw.; negativ: unser Zimmer war ein Schwerbehindertenzimmer (hatten wir nicht gebucht so), dadurch z.B. war das Waschbecken im Bad für Rollstuhlfahrer ausgelegt und entsprechend tief montiert, was für uns total unbequem war; beim Check-in wurden extra 25 Pfund pro Nacht zusätzlich ...

„Our host Jenny was brilliant. There had been some kind of miscommunication on the booking, where other hosts would have created an issue, Jenny welcomed us and all was well. The property is very homely, in a very nice rural location, parking is within the farm, safe and secure. Jenny's team / family are all very welcoming and happy to help. Great place to stay if you're riding a motorbike, or wanting to visit Thruxton. “

„My wife & I decided we needed a "just the two of us" getaway, & this establishment flashed up as a great deal for our time-frame. it's easy to reach off the M4, which was great, & even on a Friday evening it wasn't a bark to get to even though we were expecting commuter traffic. We were quickly checked in & allocated our room (#8, ground floor rear of the court yard, nearest the car park!). „Wir haben das Hotel besucht, weil es in der Nähe von Highclere Castle (Drehort: Downton Abby) liegt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer sehr schön, groß und sauber. Das Bett war für britische Verhältnisse wirklich sehr gut. Das Frühstück war klassisch britisch aber gehobeneren Standards. Zum Besuch des nächsten Supermarktes oder Restaurants braucht man jedoch ein Auto. Die Golfanlage ist sehr nett aber leider keine erkennbaren Möglichkeiten vorhanden drumherum spazieren zu gehen.“

„Nice little Inn with rooms above the Public Pub and some at the yard behind the house in the old stables. Lovely decorated and a wonderful bath. Some doors and windows are a little bit too rattly or roughly crafted, sobut you may hear a little bit to much from the outside troubles. But all in all everything fits very well and the typical english breakfast with modern elements (e.g. avocado, tomato chutney and poached eggs) is very delicious. „Tolles Hotel etwas Abseits von Basingstoke, sehr schöner Landhausstil, und alles sehr modern eingerichtet. Zimmer gross und gut ausgestattet. Nachteil ist der schlechte Handyempfang in dieser Gegend. Auch war mein Weckruf eine halbe Stunde zu spät.“

„Das Hotel liegt super ländlich. Wäre das WLAN nicht gewesen, hätte es kein Netz gegeben. Das Personal was super nett. Das Zimmer war praktisch eingerichtet. Wer zeitig ins Bett möchte, sollte ein Zimmer abseits des Biergarten wählen. Gestern war bis 23:45 Uhr Betrieb.“

„The staff are fantastic and so friendly, making the stay really comfortable. However, the outdoor pool was quite dirty, including the loungers and the pool surfaces with bird poo and staining on the tiles. Also our room did not have air conditioning and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable to sleep the first night. After this we had fans on which the hotel supplied. We had a lovely stay despite the small issues. “
