"We had to be in town for my granddaughters birthday celebration. This was a nice little place where we could all stay together and bring our dog with us. It was a nice clean place and we had a great time. There was a nice view of the river and plenty of places to sit outside. Staff was very helpful and nice."

"We’ve enjoyed our stay at Shady Creek property for 4 days. We came from California for my nephews graduation at Mount Marty University. It was quiet, peaceful, and very nice and clean. We saw wild turkeys every morning and a family of deer every afternoons while we were there. Our teens for to do marshmallow s’mores over the nice big fire pit."

Beautiful views of the Missouri River and steps away from the famous Meridian Walking Bridge. The owners are very responsive and they do everything to make you feel comfortable. "Attended an archery tournament in Yankton and the house was very conveniently located. Very clean and easy to find. The kids especially enjoyed playing in the snow and sledding down the small hill in the back yard. The only issue we had was it did snow a lot while we were there so it was difficult to get in and out of the slopes driveway. Luckily we were in a 4x4 truck but we did have to use 4x4 to get up the driveway."

"Loved the location and amenities. We have hunted the Hoesing properties for the last 6 years and stayed in Vermilion previously. This was a million times better. Hope to re-book for next year. Maybe we'll have to ask about getting permission to hunt the VRBO property as well. Ha!"

"The property is located right off of Lewis and Clark lake and near Yankton, South Dakota. The house is large, spacious and well equipped for families. The hosts are very accommodating and provided more in the house than we expected from kitchen appliances, accessories to utensils. Also the bedrooms are well appointed with beds, bunk beds and comforters. The bathrooms are spacious and well equipped with towels and soap/shampoo. "We've had a bad streak with hotels recently, but I'm glad to say that the Red Roof in Vermillion broke that streak! We loved our stay! The staff were friendly and helpful, it was quiet, beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. We did not have time to have breakfast, so I can't review that. The only downside was that the pool was super cold! I will gladly stay again. "
