Reviewer Comments:
Considering the price paid ($800/bedroom or $4,000/wk) and Hiller's online information describing it as upscale, this cottage was disappointing. Main entrance outside light was taped off and not functioning - safety hazard from tripping. Middle main floor bedroom had 0 outlets - safety hazard from the need to use an extension cord running through a door opening. Showers on both upper and lower floor had issues - main floor shower handle would fall off, lower floor drain cover was completely loose and would easily be disengaged - both potential hazards. Kitchen table overhead light could only be controlled by twisting bulb on or off - no wall or unit switch - safety hazard. Lower outside porch floor floor had boards nailed above floor surface as a patch - serious tripping hazzard. Lower porch floor door to the inside had nearly 1 inch gap at base of door - frogs, etc. entered house before we stuffed a towel to close the gap. Carpet beneath upper floor couch was filthy and unvacuumed. There was no one from Hiller on the property to report issues to. Each cottage had its own individual pier but no row boat was included which was disappointing. With all that said, the view of Little St. Germain Lake through the upper floor windows and from the outside deck was great.
