Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit, Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
We booked what was advertised as the Romantic Suite, and it was extremely misleading. First, this is not a suite at all. There are no photos of this exact room anywhere on the hotel’s website or on Expedia, and notably, the Romantic Suite listing on the website has a sea view. Our Romantic suite didn’t even have a window.
The room itself does not feel like a real hotel room. It felt like they converted a broom closet into a hotel room. It has no windows, no electrical outlets, and the air conditioning does not go below 24°C, making it uncomfortable, especially in Grenada’s climate. The doors are closet-style doors, offering no sound privacy at all. Because of this, we couldn’t even talk normally without people outside hearing us. There were also bugs flying in through the slits in the doors.
The bathroom was equally disappointing. It felt very stark and uncomfortable, almost like a jail, and the closet-style doors don’t even close properly or provide any privacy.
What made things worse is that the so-called “separate living area” is actually a shared space, something we were not informed about until after check-in. Since there are no real doors, there’s zero privacy. The room is also right next to the pool, adding to the noise and lack of relaxation.
Overall, we felt misled by the listing and the lack of transparency. This was not the romantic, private experience that was advertised. We ended up staying only one night and had to find another hotel. I would not recommend
