Desert Edge | Close to well-known Hiking and Biking Trails! Central Location.

Desert Edge is an adorable one bedroom one bathroom condo can sleep one to four people comfortably. The kitchen and living room share the same area, making this condo feel big, open, and makes spending time together so much easier.

Right off the bedroom you'll find your own private balcony with furniture for hanging out and taking in the amazing views, even for eating breakfast in the morning before your long day of adventure in Southern Utah begins. Desert Edge has so many amazing amenities you'll feel like you're at a resort! From the outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts you'll always have something to do when you get back to the condo after your days vacationing here. This condo is a located on a main floor and doesn't require stairs to access the unit. There is no one located above you so don't worry about hearing footsteps! Desert Edge also has garage acess for bicycle storage that can be arranged if you and your group need the space.

Less than a minute drive up the road from the condo you can find several gorgeous trail heads that are waiting for you to hike and explore. It's less than a minute drive, or even just about a 7 minute walk up the road to reach these stunning trails. Not far past these amazing hiking trails, you can find yourself at St. George's best mountain biking trail heads, Bear Claw Poppy. These trails are located about 4 miles from Desert Edge. Bear Claw Poppy offers a network of trails ranging in different difficulty levels, so anyone is welcome to try out these trails even if you're not an experienced rider! This beautiful condo is also closely located to many restaurants, shops, and stores for any of your needs and wants during your stay here.

If you're looking for an adventure, or even a simple relaxing getaway Desert Edge will not disappoint! Come vacation the right way and explore all the things we have to offer, here in Southern Utah.

NOTE: Recent changes to the homeowners association insurance coverage has required removal of private grills. There are community grills available for use at the club house. Bring your own charcoal.

PARKING: There is free parking around the community. There is also fenced parking available to rent for Trailers and RV's. Rented at the clubhouse $5 a day. No reservations, first come first serve. Clubhouse is open until 10pm.

NOTE: Garage is available to store bikes in. This garage is accessed by cleaners and is a central storage unit for linen exchange. Access for bike storage is a courtesy and not part of the rental.

Bedroom: There is one bedroom that features a cozy Queen-sized bed, and a private balcony. (Sleeps 1-2)

Sofa Sleeper: The couch in the living room is a sofa sleeper. (Sleeps 1-2)

Golf get away

It was very clean and comfortable. One problem when we arrived and went to turn down the bed the pillows were wet! Grabbed extra from the closet and they were wet. Like just washed.?! Grabbed the ones from the shams and no pillowcases. Internet was very unreliable.

Perfect Little Condo

Great small space

Perfect for 2 people - bed was comfortable, unit was clean, and kitchen had all the necessities. It is a nice walkable neighborhood. Things that I wish I had known - the fitness room was lacking in equipment and didn’t open until 8am each day. The club house game room was also closed for repairs. WiFi was really slow, but that may be the ISP rather than the unit wifi. Overall, I’d definitely stay here again!

We always stay where there is access to at least two hot tubs in case one is out of service. The adult hot tub here definitely needs to be relined. The condo was smaller than it looked in photos. We downsized this year due to the recent rise in prices.The bathroom floor space was especially, almost dangerously tight, even with the tiny toilet. Maybe a pocket or bi-fold door would help. The tv streaming cut itself off continuously. Otherwise, we appreciated the well stocked kitchen, the laundry and detergent, the outside deck, and the convenient location.

A Cute Little Place

I honestly hate giving a bad review but this place really needs to be managed! When we arrive it smelled musty, kind of sour, fortunately we only noticed this initially. The unit itself looked nice but there were so many small problems that it really became annoying. Advertised as accommodating 4. We found it tight with 2 adults and 1 child. What we loved: The view from the balcony was wonderful and the balcony felt private. The condo is nicely decorated. ***The sofa bed was VERY comfortable. What needs attention: The kitchen disposal did not work, the bathtub stopper was non-functional and the stopper in bathroom sink is broken. The shower curtain rod kept falling down. There is only a tiny 2 cup coffee maker and the blender smelled as if it was burning when we used it. The patio door sticks & is difficult to open and close, and the sliding screen falls off when used. The balcony was very dirty with only flimsy plastic folding chairs to sit on. For the price it was good (with the exception of the inconveniences which hopefully the owner will address) and it is in a good location.

Quiet working trip

Everyone I have dealt with has been great! The area is very beautiful and one of my favorite places in St. George. It's a real cute place but very small. It was good for me, however, I wound up getting sick and leaving a few days early and still waiting to see about a partial refund.

Zion/Snow Canyon

We came to hike and MTB ride. Spent all day hiking Zion saw lots of snow and waterfalls. Next day spent half day hiking around Snow Canyon. Found and explored the Lava Tubes. As we left St George made a stop in Hurricane for MTBing on the Cliff trails. Most of the JEM trail was muddy. However the More Cowbell was fun and fast.

Service dog not allowed

I understood that pets were not allowed, but did not know that a service dog would be a problem. I was charged an extra fine which I am still in the process of trying to get back. I was also lectured by a property management team member because of the service dog. Renters with a service animal beware.
