„My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money.
It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area.

„Loved the Old Rectory, the building is quirky and massive, it housed the entire family with space to spare, this trip was for a 50th Birthday bash and we hosted a ‘murder mystery’ party halfway through our stay, the setting was perfect. Location, premises and host Comms were all excellent!“

„Location is great for the town and if you cant find any parking on the street there is a carpark about 5min walk away @ £3 - 24hrs.
Property is currently up for sale and needs a little work but the bathroom and kitchen are relatively new and everything else has had a lick of paint just needs a bit of modernising and the garden needs work and isnt secure at the back meaning the dog needed to be let out on a lead every time but did us for the short break we had.“

„As a family of 5 along with another couple we wanted a get away near the sea with nearby walks and our wishes were granted, the bay was only a stones throw from the cottage and the coastal path walks straight from the cottage were stunning. As its more or less a dead end after the bay we felt we more or less had the area to ourselves.
The cottage itself was perfect, plenty of space for all of us, with every room was a joy to be in. Pat the owner had thought of everything, from an abundance of ...

„A very different experience, a shame it was November so the weather wasn't great, but still a great experience.
Would definately recommend flip flops for the bus stop showers, as that floor was a tad painful. And a shame the shower with a view had suffered in the last freeze, would be great in summer.
Will consider a revisit in warmer weather if we need a place to stay in the area in the future.“
