Willkommen bei Nr. 8 Southfield. Nr. 8 ist ein äußerst komfortables Steinhaus aus den 1890er Jahren, das sich in einer ruhigen, privaten Wohngegend befindet, nur 5 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum von St. Andrews und 15 Gehminuten vom Old Course entfernt. Das komplett modernisierte, möblierte und erstklassig ausgestattete Haus verfügt über 2 Schlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer, eine Küche und einen Garten im Hintergrund. Das Esszimmer dient als 3. Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten. Nr. 8 ist ein perfekter Ort für Familien oder Gruppen, die St. Andrews aus irgendeinem Grund besuchen.

Nr. 8 ist luxuriös eingerichtet und ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie für einen außergewöhnlichen und erholsamen Aufenthalt bei der Erkundung von St. Andrews und die wunderschöne Umgebung. Der Garten im Patio-Stil verfügt über einen Tisch und Stühle sowie einen kleinen Grill, an dem Sie draußen essen können. WiFi, TV, Musikanlage, Waschmaschine. Wäschetrockner, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Nespresso-Maschine und Filterkaffeeset sind im Preis inbegriffen. Das Anwesen verfügt auch über einen privaten Parkplatz, der einen problemlosen Zugang zum Herzen von St. Andrews.

We absolutely loved Jen’s house - it is stunning.The views across the valley towards Chiusi, Lake Trasimeno & beyond are breathtaking. At daybreak, we watched the sunrise over the mountains in the distance as the morning mist rose from the fields below whilst, in the evening, sitting on the balcony as fireflies lit the garden was magical. The situation is completely private & so peaceful. There is plenty of shade available & the pool was much appreciated to cool off in and, again, afforded wonderful views.Inside, the house is characterful yet modern & very well equipped. All the rooms are very spacious and well furnished. There is an excellent coffee maker and plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a barbecue if you wish to cook at home. We stayed for nearly a fortnight, so really appreciated the two housekeeping visits with fresh linen and towels. Jens could not have been more helpful and both he and Lucia really helped to make our stay smooth and trouble free. We had not been to this immediate area before but really liked Sarteano. It is so friendly and we had some excellent meals here and enjoyed wandering the streets and practicing our Italian! Chiostro Cennini was superb - a beautiful setting. Bar I Diavoli was great for coffee & morning pastries. Lo Zio, the local supermarket, was delightful- great produce & so friendly. Further afield, there are also numerous fascinating places to visit.We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! We were two couples traveling together on a bucket list golf trip for our husbands, and this place was absolutely perfect.The unit was clean, spacious, and very comfortable—plenty of room for four adults to relax without ever feeling cramped. One of the biggest perks was having two full bathrooms, which was truly priceless for a group. It made getting ready in the mornings and winding down at night so much easier and more enjoyable for everyone.The kitchen was well-stocked with all the essential appliances, and the in-unit washer and dryer were a huge plus. After over a week of traveling before arriving in St. Andrews, being able to do laundry made a big difference and allowed us to pack lighter.The location was ideal—just a pleasant 15-minute walk into town, where we found grocery stores, great restaurants, and plenty to explore.Our hosts, Kath and Ross, were wonderful. They welcomed us with a thoughtful gift of wine and delicious shortbread cookies, which made us feel right at home. They also responded quickly to a minor issue with the freezer—great communication and care throughout our stay.We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting St. Andrews. It truly enhanced our trip, and we’re already talking about coming back for our next visit!

The cottage and location were exactly as described and well placed for all of the activities around St Andrews. The cottage itself was very clean, well equipped and exceptional comfortable.Most importantly Kath and Ross our hosts could not have been more helpful, we had to make a small change to our booking which was dealt efficiently and without any fuss. I would not hesitate to recommend this cottage and the hosts to individuals or family's visiting the area.

We had a great weekend in St Andrews. The house was in great condition and in an absolutely perfect location. All mod cons were included and the private parking space was a great bonus. Communication with the owners before and after was spot on too.

Kath was proactive with suggestions for our visit and very responsive to questions. Check in was without issue and apartment afforded plenty of room for our family of 4. We were comfortably warm for some chilly nights and had plenty of natural lite during the day. Location was a simple and tranquil walk to St Andrews. We enjoyed the time thoroughly.

We stayed here for a weekend whilst watching a golf tournament on the Old Course. The location, quiet but within an easy 10 minute walk of the centre of St Andrews and 15 minutes from the Old Course, was perfect for us. The car didn’t move from arrival to departure. The cottage is warm and cosy, well presented and equipped. The host communicated brilliantly throughout. We will definitely visit again. Thank you

We stayed for 3 nights in September 2024. Home was spacious and comfortable. Host provided lots of info on the home and the town. We would stay here again and would gladly recommend to others travelling in the area. One note, there was a few scented products in the home, this was an issue for one of our party with allergies.

This was the perfect property for our visit to St.Andrews! Everything was close and convenient - truly a walkable location. Our hosts, Ross and Kath, were so amazing and extremely helpful when the golfers in our group needed a ride and no cabs were available. Beautiful condo, fully stocked with everything we needed, large and very comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay in St. Andrews. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We especially appreciated the location. We walked to castle, the cathedral, the old course, the harbor, and more. Shopping and dining were also close by. It made for a great vacation.

Really good communication with host. House was nice, complimentary wine and biscuits on arrival. We had everything we would need, hair dryer, iron, iron board, condiments in kitchen cupboard etc. location was brilliant, short walk from main city centre. We had such a lovely stay in Ross’s home. It was the perfect size for our family of four, was perfectly clean, well-stocked kitchen, lovely outdoor garden, and just a few minutes walk to downtown St. Andrew’s. The host was absolutely fantastic in helping us arrange our stay! She answered our many questions promptly and even helped us arrange a delivery of groceries prior to our arrival. We will absolutely stay here again. It is a delightful place to visit St Andrews!
