„Sehr freundliches Hotelpersonal, Annehmbares Frühstück, Zimmer ok, Älteres Haus, d.h. Schritte auf dem Flur zu den Zimmern sind gut zu hören, insgesamt aber war das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ok.“

„A lovely and luxurious hotel in need of updating in some respects. Our room was a little odd - enormous but with a low ceiling and small windows for the size of room which made it rather dark. It is also rather dated and the furnishings are showing their age a little, but still very comfortable. We ate at the hotel on one evening and none of the items we ordered (both mains and wine) was available although on the menu. Porridge was a strange omission from breakfast for a Scottish hotel. “

„Wir hatten Zimmer 9+10, die in einer Art Anbau zum Parkplatz gehen. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber gemütlich und sauber. Es gibt genügend Steckdosen, um Handys, Laptop etc. aufzuladen; außerdem hat es Wasserkocher und eine Auswahl an Tee, Trinkschokolade, löslichem Kaffee. (Den Wasserkocher am Waschbecken zu befüllen ist allerdings eine kleine Herausforderung.) Die Fenster können geöffnet werden und unsere Zimmer waren nachts auch schön ruhig. Etwas gestört hat der Generator (?) oder was auch immer ...
