„We came to town to watch Luther softball. We had a great two nights and have enjoyed the Nest on previous trips as well. We enjoy having the ability to use a kitchen, the sitting area is large enough to watch a movie with friends and the rental is always clean. We had to cancel this room this fall for Homecoming and the owner was able to move the reservation to this weekend. We found that very accommodating for us and really appreciated it.“

„Location and home were excellent, however it needs much better lighting in the living room. We all used our headlamps to read!Overhead cams in the kitchen were burned out as well. We had to run out early Saturday morning to buy toilet paper. Porch furniture needed to be cleaned. We washed the table and chairs so we could use them. “

„Great place to relax and enjoy the views, plenty to do within a 30 minute radius. If all you’re looking for is to relax at the property, you can definitely do that: bird watching, hot tub, fire pit, spend time on the large overlooking porch (we ate every meal out there). „We enjoyed the serenity of the property. A quiet place for 2 old friends to catch up. The house was very comfortable, everything seemed brand new & it was sparkling clean. Convenient location for everything we wanted to do. Would suggest adding a railing to the boat dock for safety. “

„I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 week recuperative retreat in this tucked away gem. Starting mornings off on the patio with a cup of tea looking out to the trees nestled in hills and listening to the birds was a perfect way to start many mornings. Walking the mowed trail and being surrounded by nature was a bonus. Derek and Sheena were very welcoming. Thank you! “

„Had a great stay at this property in Decorah. Great location and close to everything we wanted to do. Lots of space in the house and very comfy beds and pillows. Would stay here again next time we’re in the area!“

„Our group enjoyed the stay. Plenty to do in Decorah at Seed Savers Exchange, Norwegian Museum and Toppling Goliath Brewery for lunch. House well appointed. We used the firepit and could have used a bit more dry wood and more seating. Overall great stay!“
