„Everything there you need for a stay, everything works as it should. The fence is painted with tar so it smells not good if you sit outside. Inside theres a lot of room freshener which you have to love otherwise its uncomfortable. The WLAN was very good. Its a little bit old fashioned but clean and working. Only note, instructions say the key is at the back of the house where the parking is but the parking and the key holder is clearly at the front of the house - not sure how a simple instruction like this can be wrongly noted. „We recently stayed at May Cottage and it was just what we needed. The cottage is lovely and much bigger than we anticipated, especially the bedrooms - they’re a really big! „we (a party of 8, 4 adults, 4 kids age 13-16) just spent a few days in Seahouses. the house is quite centrally located provides ample space. approx 20-25 mins walk will get you into the town center (nice walk along the beach) with several restaurants, pubs and bars plus co-op. access to the beach is within walking distance, bamburgh, alnwick and dunstanburgh can be reached easily and conveniently as well as lindisfarne and the farne islands.“

„We stayed here for a short break with the family. We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack from the owners and was really impressed with the lodge. Its location was perfect for places to visit, we went to Bamburgh castle, Berwick, Alnwick gardens and Holy Island in the time we stayed. The accommodation was spacious, clean and warm on arrival, with the log burner as a welcome extra. We would definitely recommend for a family getaway and would stay again in the future.“

„The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay).
