"Excellent stay at the Sofitel Athens Airport. Truly a five-star airport hotel experience. The location is unbeatable; directly across the street from the airport and easily walkable, which makes travel incredibly convenient. Despite being so close to the terminal, the room was impressively quiet, and I slept exceptionally well. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. Staff were consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. Overall, a very relaxing and seamless stay - ideal before an early flight. I would definitely stay here again."

"The Athens Gate Hotel has a strong advantage in terms of location, especially if your priority is to have major tourist attractions within walking distance. The rooftop is also a highlight, offering an almost 360-degree view over Athens, which is impressive. However, the overall experience fell short of expectations. Specific room requests were completely ignored, resulting in a disappointing stay. The assigned room was on the first floor, dark, and featured only a small window. Additionally, it faced the street, making it very noisy at night due to surrounding nightlife. The breakfast experience was equally underwhelming - basic, clearly optimized for efficiency rather than quality or guest experience. To make matters worse, the staff, from reception to the breakfast area, came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. While the location and rooftop view are definite positives, the lack of attention to guest preferences, room quality, and service significantly impacts the overall experience."

"Frühstück umfangreich und aus dem 9.OG mit einer tollen Aussicht. U-Bahn direkt vor der Tür. Einziger Wermutstropfen, die Inneneinheit der zusätzlichen Klimaanlage war durch ihr quietschendes Geräusch nachts nicht zu ertragen. Und es gab keine Tür zum Badezimmer, nur zur Toilette. Wenn man nachts zu dieser musste und das Licht eingeschaltet, waren alle anderen wach! "

"Wirklich gutes Hotel mit gutem und reichhaltigem Frühstück. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Flughafentransfer. Es liegt direkt am Meer und man hat einen guten Ausblick. Restaurants und Fußgängerzone sind keine 5 Minuten entfernt. Entfernung zum Flughafen noch in Ordnung - Flugzeuge beim Landeanflug können direkt beobachtet werden (das kann man gut oder schlecht finden) - Übernachrung war dennoch ruhig und sehr erholsam. Wir waren wirklich zufrieden."
