The integrity of the over one-hundred year old treasure has been preserved while enjoying all of the modern conveniences you could want. We were blessed to watch an amazing sunset one evening while the ducks roamed the yard. This farm on a pond is a special place to visit and enjoy a slower pace of life.“

„The cabin was clean and well laid out. Plenty of necessaries if you wanted to cook. Coming in I would’ve appreciated Better signage at the road, but knowing now it is part of a larger property under construction. Still a nice view and the construction did not interfere with my stay. This was a cozy cabin and I would stay there again.“

„The property is nice. The kitchen is fairly well stocked and the furniture is all very comfortable. It is a great location for TIEC. All appliances worked well including the AC! The only issue we had was the size of the bath towels. They were clean but a tad small even for my kids. Overall, though, I will likely visit again!“

„Comfortable home for 10 family members with private view of Lake Lanier. House sits isolated in the trees. Swimming, fishing and Kayaking off a small dock. Hiking on the Palmetto Trail less then a mile away. Shops in Landrum and Tryon. IGA around the corner made eating in a well equipped kitchen. Outside grill and gas fire pit. Firm beds and 3 bathrooms. The driveway was managed after filling in dips. The stairs to the water are not walkable for seniors.“

"We expected more for the price as we stayed at cheaper hotels and got more there. The fridge was so loud, we had to switch it off at night. During our 3-day stay, the reception said, that our room gets cleaned on the 2nd day. We only got fresh towels, but the room didn’t get refreshed. The cleanliness of the room could have been better (hair in the bathroom, on the bedside tables, stains on the couch). The shower gel and shampoo is more for men, not citrusy as it says on the bottle. None of the power outlets at the bed worked. The carpet in the hallway makes you feel dizzy. "

Modern hotel, but .....
"Nice modern Hotel, well designed, enough space for 2 suitcases, large nightstand. Lamp at the bed is ridiculous, impossible to use for reading. Great shower, (european standart). Great: design floor, finally no stained carpet or strange smell. Every hotel should have it. Beds are too soft for my taste,mattress could be firmer, weird linens, strange fabric, feels not comfortable. Simple breakfast."
