„Our stay started with a calamity in that a man in the next room began shouting at a woman on the phone -- and kept on going. He was very loud. We asked for a new room and got it quickly. The staff was excellent in helping us with that. The breakfast was excellent, featuring scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits and waffles (and more). „If you are ready to be pampered in the most lovely, historic setting then the Zevely Inn is for you! Our room was cozy and the made-from-stratch breakfasts served by the innkeeper absolutely delicious! And she was delightful, so welcoming and full of stories, but still giving us privacy to soak in every morsel of Old Salem charm in the home owned by Dr. Zevely. We're going back as soon as possible!“

„Every staff member was excellent and extremely helpful in meeting our needs and modeled a sincere caring nature. My wife and I stayed the night before surgery at Forsyth Hospital which was 4 minutes away. My daughter and I spent 3 additional night since we were from out of town. We were in a handicap room and when showering there was a pooling of water outside the shower curtain which made for a fear of falling. „Die waren wirklich nicht fähig bei einem über 24 Std. dauernden Stromausfall Gänge Rezeption zu beleuchten! Geschweige denn von Notausgängen!! Für die Gäste gab es keine Lampen!! Kein Internet, keine Möglichkeit Telefone zu laden! Es wurde gar nichts organisiert! Durch den Ausfall der Klimaanlage verwandelte sich das Zimmer in eine Tropfsteinhöhle! Alle Kleidungsstücke waren durchfeuchtet! Nie mehr wieder! Und das in Amerika gewohnte "Plastikfrühstück" war grauenhaft!!!“
