"Unfortunately, the cottage did not meet our expectations, as the photos online are not up-to-date. In the living room, there is now a dark grey sofa that smells a bit musty, and on the rocking chair next to it, a blanket is used to cover stains on the upholstery. Without direct sunlight or electric light, the room does not feel bright or welcoming. The furniture is mismatched, and unfortunately, many decorative items clutter the available shelf space.It was also unusual for us to have to make our own beds, although the linens were provided. Another photo online is also misleading: it shows the fridge stocked with a few basic staples, as is sometimes the case. However, in reality, the fridge contained opened food items that were more of an inconvenience than something you would want to consume.On a positive note, I would like to explicitly mention the cleanliness of the bathroom and the dishes. The garden is very well-maintained, and you can hear wonderful birdsong. Caitlin is very friendly and was always easy to reach"
