„This apartment is exactly as advertised. It is spacious for a one bedroom with a decent sized kitchen, a dining room table and a cozy living room area with a smart TV that allowed us to log in to all our different streaming services. The king-sized bed is quite comfortable. The apartment is in an older building with cast iron heaters, so if you aren't used to those, be warned they can be noisy, but they do keep the apartment toasty warm in the winter.The location is excellent. „Some friends and I recently stayed here to attend our college reunion at The University of Chicago. We were impressed by the size and cleanliness of the apartment. The location was excellent for the UofC reunion, and the five of us were very comfortable staying there. It is close to shops and public transportation, as well as other offerings in Hyde Park and Chicago. We were able to find parking on the street in front of the apartment. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!“

Amazing Chinese dining delivery! Did notice the top step needed a little fixing but nothing that was a problem. Plenty of towels, hot water, comfortable beds. Excellent. “

„This is the perfect home base for your family if you're visiting the museums in Chicago. It's a short drive to the Museum of Science and Industry, Field Museum, Soldier Field, etc. The apartment is lovely, updated and spacious, and there is plenty of (free) street parking. While some people express concern about south side areas, this neighborhood seemed very quiet and safe, with many homes being renovated and updated. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.“

It’s right on the green line so we were able to get into downtown Chicago with ease. We were able to get coffee close by, loved how clean and well kept the space was, and had a great time! „It was great to have a space where friends could spent quality time and still easily walk to the University of Chicago campus. The unit was very pleasant with plenty of light and nice furnishings. The bathrooms are dated with peeling paint and lower pressure shower heads, but seemed clean. There is only one set of keys. The heating is via radiators, which do make the expected hissing noises. "The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Bed was clean, the furniture in the room was adequate, well equipped, but somewhat worn down. Rooms were not cleaned daily and fresh towels were scarce, we had to ask. The hotel is close to Chicago's Loop, reasonable daily ticket. 5 minutes walking distance and easy ride into Chicago. Parking at hotel available, saves parking fees downtown. Reasonable hotel and friendly staff. Overall room needed a thorough cleaning and some renovation. Considering the price, we saved some money by choosing this hotel."
