„We were happy to get the cabin at Camp Amnicon and had no problems during our stay. It is the off season and the weather was cool and we had a couple of rainy spells, but we hiked and watched birds each day in spite of the weather. Hiking to the Lake Superior beach was enjoyable. We had no problem carting our gear in to the "walk in" cabin. Numerous hikes, state parks, and birdwatching sites are a short drive away. Birdwatching from the cabin was productive and interesting.
