„What a fantastic stay. We chose this property as we needed to vacate our home whilst work was being done, but it ended up so much more than just a place to lay our heads. The location, near the main road was ideal, but actually very quiet, as it was set down a hill. Pauline, the owner, couldn't have been more accomodating, finding extra parking for us and sorting out things very quickly. The location was brilliant, especially for our 2 dogs who loved the peaceful walks in the near vacinity“

„This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! The hut was perfect, the bed extremely comfortable with high-quality linens and duvet/pillows. Kitchen very well-supplied with everything I needed (and more). The bathroom was great too, shower a little on the less-powerful side, but I expected that seeing ...

„Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Schön eingerichtet. Ideale Lage direkt am Stadtzentrum. Die Kathedrale ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Duschen ist eher ein Abendteuer, aber möglich (eng, kaum Wasser wenn sonst noch irgendwo Wasser entnommen wird, Temperaturschwankungen). Man kann bei den aktuellen Preisen viel Geld sparen, wenn man nicht gegenüber wie empfohlen, sondern Station Road West Multi Storey Car Park parkt (Oberdeck).“

„The chalet was really nice with new and modern decorations. Sufficient of cookware and kitchen utensils. The location was perfect for the nearby beaches and local shops. The only downside was about the amount of toiletries. We had 4 people staying for 3 nights, but there were only 2 toilet rolls and tester-sized shampoo and shower gel. “
