„Its a venue hotel , busy and noisy on Saturday nights til midnight. However the room had about 10 sockets. Bathroom was modern apart from dirty extractor fan. Staff were lovely, pub opposite looks neglected but great friendly crowd and staff , woluld stay again , not on a weekend though. “

„The room was very good and the bed was comfortable. Good supply of tea and coffee and the shower was excellent. On the other hand I hardly slept due to the constant drone from the bathroom. I thought it was the fan but it didn't appear to be. We were in Room 2. Shame really, it ruined the stay for me!!!“

„This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland. “

„Lovely old pub with an accommodation block at the rear. Further investment would return this place to it's obvious former glory, but for the price we paid we were pleasantly surprised with the quality we received and would absolutely stay again. Interesting plumbing, seemingly hot water from both taps (?!?) only added to the fun. Lovely service, brilliant Indian food, great location. The village is well worth a stroll around. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.“

„I needed this place to stay overnight for work purposes. For that - and the price - it was perfectly fine. Room was clean, had tea / coffee making facilities - and the place was close to Blaby town centre. Place is undergoing restoration though - so parts of it are untidy; it doesn't look like the photo on the website. No breakfast. Receptionist Glen though was very helpful. Good communication. I would recommend this place for work purposes - it's functional - but would not recommend it for ...
