Hotels South Cove

„A perfectly pleasant hotel, if a little generic, What it lacked in atmosphere as a place, was lifted by the helpful, friendly and cheerful staff, who went out of their way to make us feel at home.“

„Great family room with separate bunk beds for the children. Brilliant breakfast and canapes and staff were great. Only downside was the hot water wasnt working very well so had coldish showers.“

„We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful and friendly.“

„Wenn es heißt, dass Parkplätze inbegriffen sind, dann gehe ich davon aus, dass die Unterkunft welche zur Verfügung stellt. Stattdessen muss man sich einen am Straßenrand (welcher oft sehr voll ist) suchen oder man stellt sich auf dem weiter oben befindlichen kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz. Ich wurde einen Tag vorher gebeten meine Nummer zu schicken, damit ich alle Details für den Check-in zugesendet bekomme. „Liked how the staff upgraded us and were responsive to our feedback. Liked the bed and linen, and how, mostly, the apartment was clean. Liked how Oulton Broad North railway station was walkable, and how room 11 has a parking space - if hard to find and quite tight. The place was good value. Not so good: There was a stained grey rug in the living area that needs replacing. We didn’t have a tea towel or oven gloves until we asked. There was no bath mat - and not enough hooks to hang towels on.“

„Sehr schönes kleines hotel sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Zimmer mit viel liebe eingerichtet. Frühstück ist super, jeden tag frisch zubereitet nach Wunsch der Gäste. Sehr empfehlenswert. “

„This was our first time staying here and definitely won’t be the last. From beginning to end a wonderful experience. Both hosts professional, friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds with super shower and spotless well equipped room. Made to feel extremely welcome 😊“

„From the outside the property had old style appeal and parking which was a positive however when taken to our room this was at the back of the property and you had to pass washing hanging online, a laundry shed and general toot and tat. The entrance to the stairway to the room went past the back of the kitchen where the door was permanently open so you heard all the usual professional kitchen noises.. The stairway to the room smelt of cooking fat and there were dead flowers on the window with ...

„Das Hotel ist ein schöner Altbau aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Einmal etwas anderes. Liebenswürdig“
