Set back from the road on 40 wooded acres, The Bushby feels like its own private world. The gravel drive winds through the trees before opening up to the cabin, and from the moment you step out of the car, the pace changes. Kids take off toward the trailhead. Someone claims a spot on the deck. By the second night, everyone's orbit has settled around the fire pit.

We gave the whole cabin a fresh start: new kitchen, new flooring throughout, all new furniture, an updated upstairs bathroom, and new lighting and plumbing fixtures. It still feels like a cabin - real wood, real quiet, real trees - just one that's been cared for and updated inside.
