„We loved the cabin and our small dogs loved the fenced yard where they could roam without a lead (they are city dogs and always on a leash when outside). The only disappointment was we could not access the sandbar because the river was above flood stage our entire trip. Was very relaxing to just nag out and read! The kitchen is very well appointed.“

„This historical home is beautiful! Very nicely decorated and comfortable, while retaining the elegance of a time gone by. The grounds were well maintained and the home is located in a peaceful neighborhood. There is a very good restaurant on the next block. Excellent communication from the host Donna. „Visiting family, loved having the space to host them, much better than a hotel room. Loved shopping, French Flea, red wagon, Vintage Soul! Ate breakfast twice at Kountry Kafe! My husband said the omelette was the best he has ever had, chicken & waffles were great, I got the bacon,egg,cheese crossaint with grits both times, so delicious! Ate dinner at a steak house it was good. I would definitely stay here again.“

„I wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the beds. The sheets had hair and glitter in them. I sanitized a comforter and covered the couch. It had glitter on it also. I slept on the couch and left a day early. I was afraid to use anything in the kitchen. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow and blanket.“

The beds are clean, everything looked as it was advertised except the bedrooms were smaller than we thought they would be but we only wanted to sleep there so it was fine. However the address that is given on the VRBO website is wrong. The property manager had sent an email but for some reason a part of it was missing when it came to us. It had the new address. „The room soze was so nice! Lots of extra space compared to the average hotel room. The pool was down the weekend we were there, which is one reason we booked this hotel. Our room was very close to the "meeting room". An event was held there Saturday night. The only advice i wpuld give to the hotel staff would be to not put a family that close when they know they have an event. Loud music was booming until at least 11pm. “
