„OK so ..parking was good but tight ..
To me the restaurant is in the wrong location..would have liked it if it was on the main floor where breakfast is served so you could have a view over the sea front while having you main meal ..rather than down below ground level .. sorry but the prices are a little high .. drink .starter .main ..half pint coke ..pate ..fish chips and peas for £32. 00 is high sorry that's my thoughts ..food was nice but still .. staff are a credit to the hotel.“

„Food was fairly decent, staff were all excellent. Nice clean room, lovely comfortable bed. Big clean bathroom.
However .....we couldn't get any of the radiators to work. When its single digits centigrade outside its time to fire up the central heating !! The room and bathroom was very cold, which put a real downer on our stay.“

„The staff were amazing, couldn't do enough for you, but it had lots wrong in our rooms, hairdryer didn't work/ over bed lights weren't even connected in, in the other room i booked the shower shot out at every angle/ there was only 1 shower door on so the water ended up all over the toilet & bathroom, & it was more like a shoe box than a room the size of it“

„Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided.
Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast.
The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area ...

„Room was very small and pretty basic for the price (£120/night): bathroom basic, e.g. untiled floor, window looks out to another roof/wall. Other rooms may be different; this was the last available room as I just booked a day before.
The area is okay but very quiet on a saturday night, which cannot be said from Inn. As a DJ is playing, you will hear the music as a background noise in the room. Parking opportunity is great and room was very clean. All in all it was an enjoyable stay, but not ...

The Boathouse
The BoathouseGreat Yarmouth
10/10 Hervorragend
The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!
