„Very noisy when other guest were in the hall way. Housekeeping was poor in replenishing items. We also had a very loud guest next door after midnight, and with no front desk, no one to contact. Pounding on the wall the next night was necessary to quiet them down “

„We had stayed here one night. Everything clean and good connection, subway. Large double beds for 4 people. Room a bit bright, no real darkening possible, this could be improved. Bathroom clean and modern but minor flaws in the shower bracket“

„Super friendly staff, clean, modern and spacious! The pub downstairs is really nice too. The area itself is very quiet: meaning no nightlife and the next tube station is a bit of a walk - but there are many buses around. The only downsides: no fridge, no elevator and no breakfast - but there are bakeries nearby (my tip: "Cooks and Books"). Pricewise an absolute "No-Brainer" for a comfortable stay in London. Would come again.“

„The room was in the basement of the property and had a shared bathroom. I was not expecting either. From the pictures on the listing I thought I was going to get a room with a bathroom on a regular floor. My reservation was non refundable so I could not cancel it after I paid for it. The house is very clean and the owner was responsive when I expressed my surprise. However, I stayed 9 nights and the situation was not to my liking in that room. The room was very very small.“

But a hotel of this category that, after three days of tropical temperatures, can't get the air conditioning working, the windows won't open, and the broken refrigerator is only replaced after repeated requests, doesn't really deserve a star.
