„A lovely boutique hotel and restaurant. Beautifully decorated and equipped room (Aspen) and fabulous staff. Great dinner and breakfast. Excellent dining area overlooking a landscaped garden, with lots of extra seating on surrounding patios. Lovely small heated outdoor pool and adjacent sauna, which unfortunately we didn’t have time to try out. Maybe next time!“

„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“

„10/10 Great postion for beach / city centre. Marvellous friendly ,helpful staff, good quality breakfast/evening meals , comfortable bed/pillows, fluffy towels, good selection of drinks in the bar, comfy seating in bar , fab Edwardian hotel with a must see staircase and thick plush carpets. I used multi story car park across the road Friday night to Sunday noon £21. I would certainly go back to the Royal hotel. “

„it's a great location, with a marvelous view. right on the sea front, only a few minutes walk from the city centre. check in procedure was fast but very friendly. should have booked parking, but that was my fault. what i like are decent showers, with plenty of water pressure, which often is a real issue in hotels around the uk, no disappointment either. i had a great easter break, thank YOU !“
