„Everything was nice, the house outside looks a bit old, and the heating did not work. Rest was pretty good. “

„This is the perfect cottage to explore Skye. Ideal for a family of four. We slept well, the shower is good and every thought has gone into this self catering accommodation (not one but two hairdryers, sharp kitchen knives, dishwasher tablets, treats!). We arrived with everything we needed food and drink wise (I recommend you do as well as it's a drive to the shops) but also ate locally at the inn which was fine and lively. There's an excellent playpark across the road and a pottery. “

I cooked two of our three nights. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The last night we were there it was rainy and cold. The log burner was a welcome addition. „We really enjoyed our time we spend in this cozy and stylish cottage on the shores of Sleat/Isle of Skye. The house is very modern and fitted with everything you might wish for, when spending some calm days in these beautiful surroundings.. everything is very clean and orderly arranged. However. What we didn’t like where the check-in and check-out times….The check-in was too late (16h) and the checkout time was too early (10h) to enjoy the whole day over there. That definitely should be changed ...

„Objekt und Lage wie in Anzeige beschrieben, Sehr schön, super ausgestattet, hat keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Sehr gute Idee mit dem Feldstecher in der Küche und dem Vogelbestimmungsbuch. Eine schöne Beschäftigung bei Ebbe. Den Ofen haben wir mit dem vorhandenen Holz nicht angefeuert bekommen. Wegen der Heizung war es aber trotzdem warm. Übergabe war ohne persönlichen Kontakt, was wir schade fanden.“

„Stoirm is a lovely home - well designed, immaculately clean, and furnished with everything one could need. It is located across the loch from Portree, with a beautiful view away from the tourist crowds. Aisling and David describe it perfectly on the VRBO website and in their introductory guide to Stoirm and the area.“

„We (4 adults) had great days in this spacious cozy house! Everything required was there and in perfect shape and clean. We loved to sit at the fireplace in the evenings! Everything on Skye is easy to reach by car, but also public transport is available several times a day. And the owner was so friendly and helpful!“

"Die Unterkunft war schön. Der Self-CheckIn funktionierte problemlos. Einziger Mangel war, dass die Wände sehr dünn sind und man immer die Türen und anderen Gäste gehört hat. Zudem war unser Zimmer mit Blick auf den Parkplatz im Erdgeschoss, somit hatten auch alle einen Blick auf unser Zimmer. "

"Ich habe kürzlich eine Nacht in diesem Hotel verbracht und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt war es vollkommen in Ordnung. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist mir die Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer – der Kaffee war wirklich gut und es war ein nettes Extra, das den Aufenthalt gemütlicher gemacht hat. Auch das Personal verdient ein großes Lob: Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein paar Dinge haben mir jedoch nicht ganz so gut gefallen. Das Frühstück war recht schlicht, es wurde nur ein nationales Frühstück mit sehr begrenzter Auswahl angeboten. Wer eine große Auswahl an Speisen sucht, wird hier eher enttäuscht. Zudem ist die Lage des Hotels recht abgeschieden; es gibt in der Nähe praktisch nichts zu sehen oder zu unternehmen. Wenn man ins Restaurant möchte, muss man außerdem den Shuttle zu einem anderen Hotel nehmen – was für einen längeren Aufenthalt etwas umständlich sein könnte. Alles in allem ist das Hotel für eine Nacht okay, aber für längere Aufenthalte würde ich persönlich eher ein anderes Hotel empfehlen."
