We had a lovely stay at this property! Seven of my friends joined me for a week to celebrate a landmark birthday, and we all fit comfortably in this spacious accommodation. The convenience of the home to beaches and restaurants in Sliema was invaluable. Also, returning to the air conditioned home after a long, hot day of exploring Malta was always a welcome experience! The Lavazza coffee machine with pre-purchased pods in the kitchen was another priceless amenity. We also loved having the ability to shop at the nearby Lidl and to do laundry during our week-long stay!A few things would make the stay even more pleasant:- There were very few drinking glasses and bowls in the kitchen (although we were able to repurpose the wine glasses where there weren’t any tumblers or cups). Stocking the kitchen to include enough dining ware would be ideal.- The door to the bedroom on the left side of the second landing could not be closed fully, because there was no way to re-open it from the outside if it latched shut (there was no handle on the outside). The door to the bedroom on the top floor was also difficult to open/close because the floor tiles were lifting up.- The hosts require a 300 safety deposit via wire or cash. We withdrew the amount in cash on the day we arrived (when we learned about this charge), but it was never picked up. Future guests may benefit from knowing in advance so they can plan appropriately and avoid unnecessary ATM surcharges.
