„Gina and Colin were very welcoming hosts. Lovely peace and quiet. Numerous birds in the grounds, tawny owl in the nearby tree at night and bats flying past. I visited four nature reserves in the vicinity, plus Boston town and Lincoln City. If you are lucky you might see a visiting badger.“

„A very peaceful place in a beautiful quiet village. The cottage was warm and cosy with a big private garden. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner has thought of everything. Loved the welcome pack too. Great for dogs too with so many walks straight from the door. If you need a shop the village doesn't have one so you have to drive to Horncastle which is about 6 miles away. The only downside was, I felt the mattress needed updating. „great location on the edge of Oakham, easy walking to shops, cafes, pubs etc. Road parking was fine but the road is quite narrow with cars parked up both sides. lots of outdoor activities at Rutland water. Only 20 minute drive from the historic town of Stamford.plenty of hot water and house lovely and warm.“

„Absolutely fabulous. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book - possibly in autumn/winter to take advantage of the RSPB locations nearby. Lovely hosts, Colin and Gina Ash, fabulous, comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage and, oh, so quiet. Set in beautiful gardens with a duck pond to the rear of the decked areas to the cottages (all private). Could have sat out for hours just enjoying the peace and location.
