„The owner was very responsive and personable. It had snowed, and he made sure the driveway was plowed. The house had all the amenities as listed, and made for an excellent week in West Virginia. “

They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. „Loved the seculed property with the creek next to it, the kids and dogs really loved being able to run around! Hot tub was awsome to hang out in at nite while listening to the creek, and the deck is amazing to hang out on during a rainstorm! Will be back!!“

„Three families with teens and tweens had a wonderful time this weekend. We were steps from the slopes and had everything for a comfortable and fun weekend. The three teen boys loved the bunk/gameroom. The hot tub was a great place to warm up after skiing. We will absolutely be back.“

„We vacationed with our children and their families. The house was very clean and met all of our needs. You need to bring most of your food, as the only grocery is a small IGA market and a Dollar General. The local gift shop was awesome offering a coffee bar and baked goods along with souvenirs. The area is pretty secluded but very close to Snowshoe Mountain resort where we got day passes for swimming. Also, the historical town of Cass featured train rides and little shops. „The cabin is amazing! Had a fire going the whole weekend and went in the hot tub every night. Only problem was parking can be sketchy. The driveway is steep/angled and was fully iced over during our stay. Still totally worth it.“
