„Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und der Garten wunderbar angelegt. Die Lage direkt an der Bucht mit vollem Meerblick ist ein echtes Highlight. Den Sitzplatz im Garten konnten wir wegen des etwas durchwachsenem Wetter nicht häufig nutzen, aber wenn die Sonne da war, haben wir den Freisitz genossen. Aber auch hinter dem großen Fenster ist die Aussicht sehr gut. Schöne Spaziergänge direkt vom Haus weg sind möglich, z.B. zum gegenüberliegenden Castle Dunstaffnage. Geschickt ist auch der kleine Laden, ...

„We enjoyed the stay greatly. Very close to cafes and shops easy walking distance. We loved Roxy’s cafe.Only one suggestion, provide a blower dryer. Couldn’t find one anywhere.We loved Oban! Great place!“

„This was the absolute PERFECT place to stay in Oban. It was a HUGE VRBO with ample space for 4 adults and 4 kiddos. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was great and we were able to do laundry. The view of Oban Bay is unparalleled. I’m not sure there is a better place to stay in the town. It’s centrally located and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the view. We highly recommend. The owners were very responsive when we had an issue. It was fixed almost immediately.10 Stars!“

Apartment has all amenities so you can cook and eat in, but is also very close to tons of restaurants etc. (including right next door). Nicely decorated place as well. Everything was clean and comfortable.“

„Location, location, location. This property is less than a block from the strip in Oban, so it's close to everything. There is plenty of parking, but you'll pay for it during banking hours. The apartment itself is clean, well maintained, and adequately appointed. The larger property is old but well maintained. We met two of our neighbors during our stay and they were polite. We would recommend this property if you want something relatively quiet and very close to the action.“

"Der Wasserdruck der Dusche im 3. Obergeschoss ist ungenügend und wenn jemand anderes Wasser braucht fliesst nichts mehr. Das Licht schaltet sich automatisch an und nach circa fünf Minuten wieder ab. Leider erfasst der Sensor die Dusche nicht, weshalb man eingeseift plötzlich im dunklen steht. Die Steuerung der Heizung funktionierte nicht und es war viel zu warm eingestellt. "

"The Rooms were nice and clean, but thats to be expected for the price. Bathroom was tiny and a bit below the standard for this price range. The Spa feels a bit like a scam because its only 30' complimentary and it already closes 5.30 PM while it only reopens 10.30am when check out is at 11am. But disappointing for the price tbh."

"Das Hotel liegt wunderbar am Loch Melfort. Zu den Highlights gehört noch das Essen, dessen Preis auch für schottische Verhältnisse eher gehoben ist. Das Hotel selbst ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein Superiorzimmer mit Meerblick im Anbau gebucht. Bauweise des Anbaus und Ausstattung des Zimmers sind als eher einfach zu bezeichnen. Insgesamt waren wir angesichts der hervorragenden Bewertung für das Hotel doch ziemlich enttäuscht. "

"Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, gemütlich und scheint sehr frisch renoviert zu sein. Das Frühstück ist überschaubar, aber gut und ausreichend, das Restaurant für den Abend ist auf sehr hohem Niveau. Die Einrichtung ist im alten schottischen/englischen Stil, ohne dabei verstaubt zu wirken. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein weiteres Highlight! Direkt am See mit einem grosszügig angelegten Garten. "
