„Eine sehr geräumige Unterkunft, sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Ein großer Parkplatz ist vorhanden (wichtig, wenn man mit dem Auto in Oban ist, da die Straßen oft sehr eng und Parkplätze Mangelware sind). Und über einen Fußweg ist man in ein paar Minuten im Stadtzentrum mit seinen Restaurants. Trotzdem ist die Unterkunft ruhig gelegen, mit viel Grün herum. Der Gastgeber ist ausnehmend freundlich und hilfsbereit und gibt gerne gute Tipps, was man in der Nähe unternehmen kann. ...

„We had a nice time at the Garden Apartment. It is well situated with a short walk into town. The bed was large and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the kitchen was sparkling clean though. „Das Hafenmeisterhaus lag sehr zentral für Fort William und die Umgebung. Wir haben viele tolle Touren von dort aus starten können. Der Balkon war total schön mit einem tollen Blick über die Umgebung. Auch das Haus war sehr schön aufgeteilt und ausreichend ausgestattet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Schön wäre, wenn das obere Bad eine Duschvorrichtung gehabt hätte.“

„Von außen erst einmal abschreckend (Hinterhofeingang, Fenster zur Hauptstraße), ist die FeWo innen gut modernisiert. Die Vermieterin war bemüht, Mängel (z.B. wackelnde Stühle) schnell abzustellen. Die Küche ist leider schlecht ausgestattet, die Schränke sind dafür voll mit allerlei Putzmittel und Kram. Die Betten sind bequem, die Zimmer groß, so dass auch 4 Personen problemlos unterkommen.“
