„This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in! The windows were so dusty and we had a lot of ants in the kitchen, it was very disgusting. Everything was very used. The shower was also dirty. We needed to park our car outside of the building because all parking spaces were full. The next day our license plates were stolen. So very unsafe area. I would not recommend staying there. “

„Had everything we needed. Was in a convenient and quiet area close to everything we needed. Multiple parks close by were handy. “

„Not a great start. We arrived, had not received a text re cabin access and nobody answered the phone. When checking with Eungella Chalet we discovered that whoever input the dates into their systems had made a mistake. We had no accommodation for first night - dates a day ahead. Fortunately the lady at the chalet managed to find a one night stay at Broken River 5km away and the wonderful host there, Wen, welcomed us plus said she would work out payment with the cabins. Once we were in our cabin, ...

„They hadn’t finished cleaning by the time we got there even though we were on the dot when it came to the check in time. The house was a bit run down compared to the pictures and one of toilets wouldn’t flush because the button was pushed in. Other than that the whole stay was fantastic. It was spacious, had all the necessary amenities and overall just.a pleasant place to stay. Would definitely recommend. “

„We found that we needed to wear thongs in the bathroom. The taps were mouldy and green in colour. The surfaces throughout were sticky and the walls were marked with dirty spots. The carpets had not been vacuumed. The wardrobe door would not open, so I was unable to hang my clothes or reach the iron to press them. The overall standard of cleanliness was below standard and a health issue. The toilet roll holder was disgusting with built up greasy grim, and the toilet paper was only one ply. ...

„Sie bewohnen ein kleines, gut eingerichtetes Häuschen. Es fehlt an nichts. Alles ist mit Liebe und herzig eingerichtet. Das Eigentümer-Ehepaar erfüllt ihnen fast jeden Wunsch. Wir haben Erklärungen über die ganze Umgebung erhalten. Das Frühstück war fantastisch. Wir haben diesen ganz anderen Aufenthalt sehr genossen und fanden es schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht gebucht hatten. “

„The property was not unsafe, where this company (who is not the hotel- it's a third party property) stores their keys is very unsafe. The Oaks hotel is fine but this company makes you go down a not well lit street and then down a completely not lit alley to get your key out of lockboxes. My first room stunk of BO and some really strong chemical so bad i had to change rooms so had to go back down that dark alley to get a new key. Would recommend booking directly with the oaks and not this ...
