„The staff were very helpful and it felt homely and very comfortable. The food was enjoyable too. For an old building it was kept in good condition, nicely decorated and showed the history through artwork and photos.“

„Wonderful historic Inn- the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating- the food… Incredibly delicious and beautifully presented! We had a great stay!“

„Rooms were clean n bed was comfortable. They cater to us hikers.“

„An absolute gem! A wonderful authentic pub offering such comfortable and friendly accommodation. The restaurant food is delicious and the full English breakfast is the best I can remember. The village is delightful.. and we were lucky enough to stay a Thursday when there is music, and we also had the best Mortis dancing! Such a memorable stay! Thank you“

„Ein schöne Hotel mit fantastische Ausblick. Nette Personnel, sehr freundlich.“

Best vegetarian Sunday roast I’ve had! The breakfast buffet had many vegetarian options too. We’ll happily return whenever we’re in the area next. Highly recommend!“

„Herrliches englisches Pub mit entsprechender Kundschaft. Man fühlt sich wie im Wohnzimmer. Sehr altes Haus inkl.
