„Quiet, relaxing cabin with wildlife all around. We felt safe. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony overlooking the water, sitting on the front porch, and around the fire pit. Abundance of birds, rabbits, deer, and many other animals for us to watch. All this, yet near restaurants, stores, and community activities. The property was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities that met our needs.“

„Small house but everything was wonderful“

„The 4 parking spaces up top that belonged to the house were filled with cars from people renting the house next door. Had to park down the drive by the side door. Walking into the house there was an OVERWHELMING smell of gas & sulfer. Opened windows to air it out but the smell never went away. The set up of the house was really cute with a nice living space downstairs. It was hot upstairs in the bedrooms even with the air set to 66 so we slept downstairs on the couch. Hot tub was cloudy w/ bugs ...

„Enjoyed our stay at this spacious home close to Shipshewana! Enjoyed the porch and watching the Amish drive back and forth. It was very entertaining and took the place of a TV (there isn't one). There were plenty of bathtubs but we did not use them. We used the one shower. Home is brighter than the listing pictures.“

„We loved our stay at this property. It was a great country setting and very comfortable. The furniture was like new and very comfortable. Many extras like coffee and tea. They provided soaps, shampoo, and plenty of bath towels and wash cloths. The owner checked on us to make sure we were happy with everything and wanted to know if we needed anything. This house is very convenient to all of the attractions and shopping in Shipshewana. You can't go wrong staying here. I would highly recommend this ...

„The house was in good shape and well suited for a large group. We had 10 that slept comfortably. Property manager responded promptly. Some minor misinformation on the VBRO site (likely just out of date) such as an incorrect WiFi password and sending the door code the day prior to arrival, but these were minor things that were resolved promptly with no issue. Overall an enjoyable experience and a nice setting on the lake. Some nearby gunshots in the early morning hours both days could be heard... ...

„We were looking for a small place near the lake for our small family (myself, wife and daughter). Clean, simple and on point with the description in the listing. Nice touches and some upgrades for an older cottage. It’s all we needed and very convenient to Oakwood Resort and the water. Would book again. Thanks!“
