„Hotel direkt an einem Eisenbahnknotenpunkt. Kyoto, Osaka und Nara bestens erreichbar. Wunderschöne, weniger bekannte, Tempelanlagen und Schreine in nächster Nähe.“

„Excellent onsen hotel right at the end of the first day of the Kohechi Kumano Kodo pilgrimage trail. I came for the onsen and mountain seclusion, but they had such good maps of the Kohechi at the front desk that I decided to walk back to Koyasan the day I checked out. It’s about 20km through the mountains from Nosegawa Onsen to Koyasan, walking on a mix of well-kept trails and paved roads; overall, a moderately difficult hike with very good signage.
I highly recommend Kohechi hikers to stay at ...

„Tucked away above the bar/cafe, this onsen was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very traditional in the Japanese style, and we had access to the entire area as we were the only guests staying on that night. The staff were completely lovely and helpful. The showers and toilets were well kept and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The location is perfect to walk around and explore Koyasan. Definitely worth a visit!“

„Der Aufenthalt war sehr interessant und ereignisreich. Man kann in einem traditionellen japanischen Zimmer übernachten. Zusätzlich hat man die Möglichkeit Zeremonien und Rituale der Mönche über den Tag hinweg zu begleiten. Die Lage in Koya san ist sehr gut, da man direkt neben dem berühmten Friedhof sich befindet.“
