„Pros - wonderfully comfortable bed and pillows, lovely sheets and soft fluffy towels. A lovely newly refurbished bathroom and lots of lovely hot water and nice toiletries. The food is superb, both dinner and breakfast, with lots of choice and cannot be faulted. Dogs allowed everywhere, which for us is a massive plus with 2 dogs. Opposite the Abbey so in a marvellous position for seeing the area by foot and parking is free as well Cons - chipped paintwork in room and bathroom, needed a re-paint ...

„Das kleine Cottage ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Für unseren kurzen Stopp völlig ausreichend. Die Lage ist super, man kann den Ort zu Fuß gut erkunden. Sogar den Dog Walker in der Nähe vom Bahnhof haben wir gefunden. Die Kommunikation war super und der Check in problemlos.“

„A spacious property well furnished, warm and equipped for our needs. The owner was very helpful and considerate. For the price we were lucky to be able to find it on line. The dairy farm smells were no more than expected . The local village was charming and had good basic stores, including a very good chippy and a helpful chemist.“

„This is an attractive cottage, comfortably equipped. The Aga is a big bonus being easy to cook Xmas lunch on and there is a large electric cooker too, making it suitable for families and larger groups. The ceilings are quite low so if the party is very tall it may not be suitable. Lovely village all in all a pleasant stay.“

„This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place.“
