„Lovely spot adjacent to an area winery. Nice open views of open fields. Walking access to battlefield trails. Not far to explore Harper's Ferry,. Sheperdstown close by for delicious dinner out. A couple of breweries added to the end of hike experience. Three bedrooms gave us room to stretch out (I used one for sewing while it rained!). Kitchen well appointed. A terrific place to stay.“

„The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. “

„Surreybrooke cabin was so lovely. A "shabby chic" oasis. The gardens were beautiful, and the wrap around porch was my favorite spot. There are 3 levels, so be ready to climb stairs. It was centrally located for everything we wanted to see in the area. The scones were yummy, and the cabin provided everything you may need. I hope to be able to come again in the future.“

„We booked this place for 12 adults and it was last minute as the previously booked location cancelled the day before the trip. We doubled up in each room. It had everything we needed plus a pool. It is located close to numerous wineries and is right next door to the brewery. There was plenty of parking for everyone. The place was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. We property manager was quick to reply to any questions we had. The view was amazing especially for the sunrise!“

„The Riverside Cottage was a lovely little place on the river. Great reviews from the back deck. The place was very tidy and had just what we needed for a change of pace. Very easy drive into Shepherdstown. The hosts provided a nice binder of information and recommendations and made everything very easy. They responded right away when we inquired about a cooking sheet to use in the oven. “

„My friends and I always go away for New Years. We try someplace new every year. This lovely mountain top home did not disappoint. It was spacious, clean and equipped. It was very cold (because it was January). Did some snow tubing close by. The drive up and down the mountain was a little nerve sketchy, but took it slow as I was not driving a SUV and it was fine. It was very quiet. We had an enjoyable time.“

„We used this beautiful home for a history trip of DC landmarks and regional Civil War Battlefields. The location was great. The drive into DC averaged about an hour and 45 minutes in the mornings due to traffic, but all the other Civil War destinations were much less and the house is large and very well maintained. „We spent Easter weekend at Sunny Streams with our daughter’s family and really enjoyed this charming and comfortable house. Each couple had their own floor with TV rooms and baths. „We really enjoyed our stay. We had one hiccup with the code for the front door not working, but the owners communicated immediately to get us in! We really liked the fenced in yard for our dog and the fire pit with fire wood so easily accessible. One thing we learned about Harper’s Ferry is the abundance of gnats!!! Bring your bug spray!!
