„Das Hotel ist zwar ganz nett, das Personal auch, aber leider auch total unflexibel...wir haben auf der gesamten Reise nirgendwo so ein schlechtes Frühstück bekommen wie dort...obwohl wir gesagt hatten, dass wir uns low carb ernähren und gerne nur Spiegeleier zum Frühstück hätten, wurde uns auf einem riesigen Teller ein Ei mit zwei dünnen Scheiben Schinken serviert, es wurde nicht gefragt und auch nicht mehr angeboten. „The room was great - spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The hotel bar area was good - simple but stylish. Decent range of beers on offer. Food was okay. „its a lovely hotel, fabulous view, comfortable accomodation. the lake walk is pleasant, and the walkway maintained to make it reasonably accessible but not fully pushchair / wheelchair capable. its great that its dog friendly and animals are allowed in and around the place food is very nice, all made to a very high standard. it is pricy but its very pleasant and you dont feel short changed. a good location for a special event. “

Water pressure in room #5 very poor but clean a pleasant bathroom. No mobile service but that is obviously not The Maypole’s fault!“
