Hotels Serene Lakes

„Wir haben ein günstiges Hotel in Carmelian Bay am Lake Tahoe gesucht. Die Besitzer sind freundlich und haben uns ein großes Zimmer mit 2 Queen Size Betten und zusätzlich einem Futon gegeben. Die Ausstattung ist einfach abgeht ok. Das WLAN ist gut und gute Lage auch. Direkt nebenan ist eine coin laundry und auch ein einfaches Pizza Restaurant in dem wir gut gegessen haben. Der Strand am See in Fussweg Distanz ist ok, hat aber Kieselsteine. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt einfach aber ok.“

„Great property overall. However, we were very disappointed with the lack of prep of the condo on arrival. We assumed from the advertisement that it was a wood stove with option for having a fire. We did not know this was a gas fireplace and the only heat source. That would later prove just fine but on arrival the room was ice cold at 40 degrees. Beds were ice cold as well. After turning on the thermostat and setting to 75, we noticed it was taking about 10 mins to move up one degree. At ...

„The place was clean enough. The pots and pans were old and the non stick surface was all scratched and peeling. This is a hazardous condition, the Teflon releases toxins when used this way. So our plan to stay in and cook for ourselves was not possible. Next, the sofa bed was broken and unusable. So we had to make other sleeping arrangements. „The place was very clean, full with everything you need to feel like you are home, quiet area, and very spacious. Only small thing that happened on our last full day of vacation was that the alarm went off at 10am in the morning and didn’t know who to call right away. There was no fire, and firefighters said it was prolly the food we cooked. “

„Overall, property was nice but could use some updates. Coffee maker did not work and BBQ was filthy, covered in cobwebs, and did not have any propane in the tank. Showers had great water pressure and all beds were very comfortable (we did not use the couch pull-out.)
