Welcome to The Sunshine and Lightning Home, a beautifully renovated retreat nestled beneath Sedona's iconic Thunder Mountain. Thoughtfully redesigned in 2026 - this bright, open home blends modern comfort with the beauty of the surrounding red rocks.

Multiple windows frame stunning mountain views, while curated interiors invite you to slow down, reconnect, and settle into the rhythm of the desert.

Designed for both gathering and relaxation, the home offers multiple indoor and outdoor living spaces where your group can come together or enjoy a quiet moment alone.

Share meals around the dining table and spacious kitchen island with seating for eight, curl up with a book on the private balcony, enjoy movie nights with surround sound that carries into the dining room and kitchen, or gather beneath the stars around the outdoor fire pit after soaking in the hot tub. (P.s. the hot tub is chlorine-free, no harsh chemicals here!)
The fully renovated kitchen features brand-new appliances, non-toxic cookware, and everything you need to prepare meals at home. Throughout the home, you'll also find surround sound speakers, blackout curtains for restful sleep, and thoughtfully selected non-toxic cleaning products.

Conveniently located in the heart of West Sedona, you're just a short walk to Posse Grounds Park with its community pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, walking trails, skate park, Mountain bike park, and playgrounds.

You'll also be only minutes from Sedona's best hiking, restaurants, and shopping. With parking for up to six vehicles in the circular driveway, this is the perfect home base for families, friends, and unforgettable Sedona adventures - without the traffic.

While the home is incredibly walkable among West Sedona, and the trailhead shuttle can take you from near the house to some of the most popular trails, please note there is no Uber/Lyft (consistently), so if you want to see iconic sites like Tlaquepaque or Chapel of the Holy Cross, then a personal car or rental car would be needed.

Guest access
You'll have private access to the entire home, with the exception of the garage. A washer and dryer are also available upon request.

Other things to note
- No light pollution = incredible stargazing.

- The home has been intentionally designed to encourage rest, connection, and presence.

- Arizona sun is strong year-round—bring what you need to stay cool and hydrated.

- Sedona is home to javelina, deer, quail, rabbits, coyotes; admire from a distance.

- Fire restrictions can change seasonally; always ensure responsible use of outdoor fire pit. Sometimes seasonal fire bans may be imposed by local authorities and in those cases, fire pit will not be available.

- Sedona is a quiet residential community, and quiet hours help preserve the peaceful atmosphere.

- Cell service can be spotty on some nearby trails, though the home (and all outdoor spaces) has high-speed extended wifi.

- While Sedona is known for sunshine, the high desert cools down drastically at night; prepare with layers.

- For the safety and security of our guests and the property, the home is equipped with multiple exterior security cameras that monitor the outside of the property, including entry points and the driveway. These cameras are used solely for security purposes. There are no interior cameras or recording devices inside the home, and no cameras monitor private outdoor areas intended for guest use.
