Cradle of the Sun is a charming retreat tucked away in a secluded woodland setting, just minutes from West Sedona and the breathtaking Red Rock State Park. This warm and colorful ground-floor apartment features an open-plan living space with plush seating, a fully equipped kitchenette and dining area, and breathtaking views. The primary bedroom, boasting an electric fireplace, opens onto a spacious terrace for relaxing and taking in unobstructed views of Sedona’s stunning red rock formations.

Inside, the open-plan living area is thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort, convenience, and style. Flooded with natural light, the space combines the warmth of exposed wooden beams with rich textiles and earthy tones that mirror Sedona’s stunning landscape. At one end, you'll find a large primary bedroom and cozy lounge area for lazy afternoons after a morning on the trails. At the other, there is a well-equipped kitchenette and dining area with large patio doors opening onto the lush red rock surroundings.

• We do not charge extra for additional guests. However, the number of guests staying MUST match the number of guests specified on the reservation. No unregistered guests are allowed on the property at any time.
• Pets are not allowed. Any evidence of pets may incur a $500 deep cleaning fee.
• No smoking or vaping inside or on property. Any evidence of these activities may incur a minimum $1,000 deep cleaning fee.
• We are unable to accommodate late check-out. Checking out after 10:00 AM will incur a $250 fee.

You will have full access to the entire ground-floor apartment, with its private terrace. You have use of a detached one car garage; the garage door remains open.

We live locally, and are available 24/7 if needed. We are just a message or phone call away throughout your stay!

You will be staying in a quiet residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of the neighbors :). You will be centrally located, and just a short walk or drive to many of the area's top attractions.

Rideshares like Uber or Lyft are rare in Sedona, so we recommend bringing a car. You can take advantage of the Sedona Shuttle to get to popular trailheads where parking is difficult. The West SR 89A park-and-ride is a 6-minute drive from the home. Shuttles run year-round, Thursday thru Sunday.


Please note that there is another one-bedroom unit above a portion of your apartment. There is no living space above your bedroom.

We are committed to complying with state and local regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete a guest verification process after booking.

You will receive an email and a text with a link to complete the verification. This process is completed by a third party company called Truvi. We do not see any of your private information.

Truvi will collect a non-refundable credit card authorization fee of $10. This allows them to collect reimbursement if damage is discovered after your stay, without having to actually hold a damage deposit.
