„My partner and I hoped for a peaceful getaway to hike and chose this place. As soon as we drove in, it seemed like nothing we’d quite seen. It’s walled like a park with an expansive front yard area, but it’s private. There are really cute old buildings. It was like we had the place to ourselves. „The home was a nicely refurbished older structure just on the east edge of Madison and very near the bridge to Kentucky. The bathrooms were roomy and the bedrooms comfy.If you do rent this house, I don't see how more than four guests could comfortably stay there. Downstairs main area felt cramped at times with 4 adults.The only serious drawback I felt was the driveway of the property. „We loved the Wee House. It was great at the end of the day to sit on the porch, listen to the birds, and watch the barges on the river. The kitchen had everything we needed. We especially liked the quilts on the beds--so cheerful and colorful. And the location was perfect--just two short blocks from Main Street so we could walk everywhere.“

„Nestled on the Ohio River in a quiet neighborhood close to Louisville (about 20 minutes). Pet friendly. Clean. Nice kitchen with appliances like a Keurig coffee machine, regular coffee pot, air fryer, and blender. Beds were not the most comfortable and neither was the furniture. Great shower! The yard needs attention. Looks like it went through a storm!“

„I literally can't say enough nice things about this property and my interactions with the homeowner. Beds are comfortable, the cabin spotlessly clean, and the kitchen has everything you need to make meals. As amazing as the inside of the cabin is, the most amazing part is the back porch overlooking the lake. Every morning we enjoyed our cup of coffee on the porch, listening to the birds and wildlife. And then every evening enjoying watching the sun go down over the lake. Can't wait to come back! ...
