„Very comfortable cottage in a superb, remote, location. Hosts Andrew and Sheila were welcoming and helpful but equally unobtrusive.Lovely walks just a short drive away - a very relaxing week“

„We could not have enjoyed Garden Cottage more! Thoroughly modern and comfortable inside and in a charming, peaceful setting. The staff at Melfort Village were so kind and helpful also. I would recommend this cottage/Melfort Village to anyone.“

„The Host was great to communicate with . The hot tub was a big hit with our group . Nice treat at the end of the day to relax and enjoy the view ! It was really nice for all of our guests to have their own bathrooms . “

„A great spot to spend a couple of nights and explore Skye from. Would definitely recommend.“

„This place was absolutely wonderful! We loved being only 10 minutes away from town, and the amazing view out of the living room windows. Any questions we had were answered very quickly and the place was just what we needed for our trip.“

„The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Frances suggested two places for dinner, and they were both really good. She also gave us tips about the hike we wanted to do and recommended a place for lunch afterwards. It’s a beautiful area. If you go, walk down the road to the lake.“

„This is a special place to stay. Everything was just perfect and lovely in every way. We would not hesitate to stay again someday.“

„Very relaxing cottage with comfortable beds and great hot tub! Wonderful location for enjoying nature. The directions from Cottage.com needed more detail. The hint of being slightly past and across from the Oak Tree Inn and Balmaha boat yard would have been very helpful. “

„This is a fantastic area with many opportunities to explore the wonderful Highlands. The apartment was spacious and lovely with many conveniences. We all enjoyed the amenities, only issue was swimming pool hours and slots were very limited so no chance to see the pool. However there are many things to do including tennis, chess, pool tables and walks. Very clean and comfortable accommodations and we would love to return! The area is extremely beautiful and the renovated Monastery a real treat!“
