„Wenngleich dieses wahrhaft abseits gelegene Hotel nicht zu den sonderlich preiswerten gehört, kann man ihm nur attestieren, zu unvergleichlichen Schmuckstücken zu zählen. Beim Einchecken in diesem wunderschönen viktorianischen Hause begegnete uns die Mitarbeiterin ungemein gastfreundlich und informativ. „After a warm welcome we stayed one night in a nice, quite, individually furnished and well equipped appartment above the garage. The double bed is small, but an additional convertible sofa can be used. The house is sited in a green environment. It is a five minute walk to Ferndale Main St (recommendable: Ivanhoe restaurant & saloon). The access road is very steep. “

„I wasn’t expecting anything mind blowing, and the woman at the front desk was really nice and that area was clean, but when I got to my room, it was a different story even though the bed was clean the surrounding room, the bathroom and the kitchen area were also filthy that I didn’t feel comfortable in the bed even though it was the cleanest part of the room I only encountered one cockroach, but that’s enough isn’t it? „Easily the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, and comfortable too.The property is so well maintained and the gardens are wonderful. As others have noted, the breakfast far exceeded any expectations we had. So much so, my husband threatened to lick the baking dish! Will be looking for recipes to try and duplicate.Only wish it had been warm enough to eat outside. My highest recommendation!“

„Die Zimmer sind einfach ausgestattet, nicht sehr geräumig, aber sauber. Die Betten sind gut. Redwood Suites sind der Annex eines wunderschönen viktorianischen Hotels, Victoria Inn. Das Frühstück, im Preis inbegriffen, wird dort eingenommen und ist segr gut. Sehr freundlich und hilfreich das Personal. Ferndale ist wirklich sehr sehenswert.“
