„We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! “

„Liked size of bedrooms and bathrooms . Easy walk in shower for mild mobility problems . Good property to share with adult son in second room . Heating very responsive . Host kept in contact to check if any refills etc needed . Only downside for us are stairs access but there were good handrails . “

„We arrived before check-in and happened to catch the owners. They directed us to the parking behind the house & checked us in early. We left the car and set out to explore. Lovely room. Small shower. Lovely grounds. Delightful breakfast made to order. Easy checkout. Definitely recommend!“

„The property was perfect for my sister and I. A lovely light,cosy room with everyting needed. There was even a little fridge in the room with fresh milk and bottled water, also a proper jar of coffee, sachets of yorkshire tea and selection of biscuits. „Wir hatten ein Doppelbettzimmer für 2 Personen im obersten Stock (2. Stock - Dachbereich). Kleines aber sauberes Zimmer. Sehr ruhig gelegen (Zimmer lag auf straßenabgewandter Seite). Ca. 15 Gehminuten mitten ins Zentrum von York. Frühstück exzellent: Man bekommt beim Check-In eine Frühstücksliste zum Ankreuzen, was man alles haben will (full english). „As I had to leave the house at 8 o'clock in the morning, I couldn't have breakfast as it's served only at 8:30. Expedia didn't help me to refund the money for breakfast which I'd paid together with the overnight stay. On the other hand, there's been no information on Diamond's Villa's website about the beginning of breakfast. I'd found it fair if either Diamond's Villa or Expedia had taken care for refund. “

„The provided facilities, in terms of the fridge shack etc could do with updating and the site is a lot smaller than anticipated so we were greatful of only one other pod being occupied. Had there have been others there, there wouldn’t have been much privacy at all. Coat hooks being on the same wall as the plugs/shelf etc meant coats hanging over the kettle , but the pod itself was lovely and clean, amazingly comfortable bed.
