New in 2024- 12 x 20 Pergola with outdoor fans and lighting to add even more appeal to the backyard oasis, ALSO NEW in 2024, 4th bedroom that sleeps 4 in lower level. House now sleeps 12.
One mile from the amazing Warren Dunes--this is a perfect ALL-SEASON getaway on just over an acre. Winters are aided by a huge fireplace inside and a large hot tub outside... Summers are dreamy with pool, outdoor shower, and pergola. Fall/Spring visitors get the most out of the outdoor firepit and hot tub!

With a whole house overhaul in 2020, the bright and open-concept kitchen is ready for a crowd and the custom square dining table easily seats 8-12. It's a perfect location for family getaways, weekends with friends, or even a holiday break.
Hang out back on the new and improved large patio, sit by the outdoor fire pit, enjoy an 8-person hot tub under the stars, or even float the day away in the 30' round pool. With 3 bedrooms on main floor, and 1 bedroom in lower level, the house sleeps 12. Also downstairs, you’ll find ping pong and a pool table.
The house is close to everything you love about Harbor Country and yet, away from the crowds. Run or bike to Warren Dunes, the Michigan Fruit Stand, or Greenbush Brewery, just about a mile down the road. Plan a vineyard or brewery tour... you can even use our bike trailer to tote gear, kids, or dogs! A perfect location for a golf getaway, biking trips, and close to all the best shops, bars, and restaurants of the area.
We provide needed linens, towels, and firewood. We've even got a pack n play if you need it for your visit. Extra sanitation measures are in place. Just pull up and enjoy.)

Three-day minimums in Fall/Winter/Spring and week-long minimums in Summer. (We’re dog-friendly, but not fenced and we have some restrictions regarding numbers and size so please inquire before booking if you have more than one dog.)

Relaxing Summer Retreat

Willow Dunes was an exceptional place for our family to get away, relax and recharge. This home is in proximity to everything SW Michigan has to offer; Beaches, family fun, good restaurants, exceptional ice cream, Dunes and if you want to stay in - the pool, jacuzzi and basement game room provide hours of enjoyment. The owner is exceptional and super responsive and anticipatory to anything you may need to make your stay more comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and will be back again for sure. Highly recommend Willow Dunes for a home away from home.

Michigan retreat

We loved everything about this property. The house is great for vacation entertaining. Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The yard is amazing with the huge pool fire pit and patio. The host is also very responsive to any problems. You might have. It was the best rental experience ever highly recommend.

Something for everyone!

This was our second visit to this lovely home and it's still an amazing place to stay. There's plenty of room to spread out…one group could be cooking in the GIANT kitchen, another playing pool/ping pong in the basement, or relaxing in the hot tub. The more outdoorsy folks could make s'mores around the fire pit. The jumbo dining room table was more than enough space for me to work and my friends to have lunch. I'm honestly not sure how anyone could come up with a negative comment. The place is spotless, with amenities for days. I'd go back in a heartbeat…and we weren't even there when the pool was open!

Pros: The location is convenient to Warren Dune State Park beach (2 minutes!) and restaurants like Greenbush and Staymaker in Three Oaks. It’s only about 20 minutes to St. Joseph Silver Beach. The house is roomy with a good size kitchen and huge island. The dining room table is large. The washer/dryer is convenient. Ample towels. Big backyard with turkey and fawn sightings. TV was nice for watching a football game. Appliances were nice. Dishwasher pods and other products provided. Nearby railroad track sounds were entertaining for toddlers, but maybe a negative for some. Cons: The kitchen needs an inventory taken. There were only 7 forks, no decent frying pans, no big cookie sheets for pizza, etc. The furniture was cute but not very comfy. The pool was so cold it was unusable- as if it was just filled. The pool table and ping pong table have seen better days and the equipment was worn out. Overall, it was a nice place but for our family and the price point, it disappointed in regard to the reasons it was chosen.

Great week away!

This house was perfect for a week away with three children and a dog! The pool was a huge hit! Very well maintained and refreshing with plenty of floats and room for the whole family. We enjoyed the outdoor seating for our meals and the fire pit was perfect for evening fires. Great proximity to the Warren Dunes, as well as shops (ice cream and antiques, our favorites!), several nature preserves with hiking trails, and a little “fun park” for kids (go-carts, bumper cars, mini golf, etc). The house was a great size for a family to spread out and everyone thought the beds were comfy. Plenty of games and books for a rainy day. Elizabeth is a wonderful host!

The property was as listed and more. Everything you needed was there. It was clean and homey. Meijer was just down the highway. We drove to New Buffalo, 20 min ride, ate at the Stray Dog. OMG the food was very good. I was disappointed it wasn’t warm enough to use the pool. Maybe next time because there will definitely be a next time.

Perfect little getaway from Chicago

The property is really nice and modern. It's a great little getaway and is so close to the Warren dunes. There is plenty to do north and south within a 15 minute drive. I have to give extra credit for cleanliness; the place allows pets and I didn't notice any pet hair on the furniture. Good job! The property manager was very responsive and accommodating when we had trouble working the themastat. I'm not very tech savvy and she was able to adjust the themastat to our liking without coming to the property. Wonderful place for a family to stay!

Great Thanksgiving Weekend Away

A nice get-away for the Thanksgiving holiday and birthday. The hot tub was great, the fireplace was used every night and the pool table and table tennis (ping-pong) was so much fun! Despite the cold, we visited the Warren Dunes for some sunset photos - which was a short 5 minute drive. Very generous that bar soap, body lotion, laundry packs and firewood were provided for our stay - never had that before. Even though we only had 4, the kitchen table would be great for at least 12 people. Also, we brought some of our favorite games to play, however, they had quite the selection from which we also played. We will definitely come back again!

Great house, great location to explore beautiful MI!

The house was perfect with all the essentials, so much room and so much to enjoy with the hot tub, fire pit was perfect for star gazing and relaxing, and the pool table allowed for some good indoor fun. Restful beautiful getaway!

Our experience with this quaint home near warren dunes was exactly what we needed. We traveled with 2 kids under 8 and grandparents …. It was a great place to stay with a wide range of generations due to ease of home layout, large yard for play, hot tub to enjoy the fall foliage, and HUGE table for shared meals. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities which is great when traveling and less to worry about for packing details. Furthermore I want to thank the hosts for the ease in check out. We have traveled extensively at vacation home rentals- and the exhaustive lists for check outs have gotten ridiculous where we have debated on going back to hotel stays so we can actually finish a relaxing getaway. Staying at this wonderful sawyer home ended with ease in check out and not a laundry list of “to dos”. Lastly- lots of great places nearby for families- Peats Cider Social, Three Oaks, Tabor hill winery, sarett nature center and of course the dunes!!
