„This was a perfect place to spend out Wedding Anniversary. It was clean, quiet, peaceful, and fully stocked with anything you could need. The hot tub was great! We didn't have an opportunity to use the sauna, but it was fun that it was even an option. My only, very small suggestion, would be to have more "comfy" seating around the two different fire places. If you wanted to sit by the fire, your options were bar stools or a small corner of the couch far from everything. (But let's be ...

„My partner, dog and I came to sugar island to experience a new place in the UP and we will certainly be returning to Sweet Retreat!! Sheri and Jeff were the most accommodating of hosts and truly go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s comfort and fun. We used the bikes on the property and were lucky enough to take a pontoon cruise with the hosts our last night. The cabin was absolutely adorable and had everything we needed. I couldn’t recommend staying here enough! We can’t wait to come back!“

„From the moment I walked in it felt like home. The room had an old time vibe with a velvet settee, leather upholstered chairs and a large palm in the corner.The kitchenette was stocked with essentials for minimum cooking but include a induction cooktop with pan. Nice mini fridge, coffe pot and microwave as well. The beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Plenty of towels and bedding too.
