Lakeside A-frame Cottage
A peaceful, unique, and private property where you can relax, lounge, and reminisce of the yesteryears of cottage days! This vintage and authentic 1960's A-frame cabin has been renovated into a cozy and comfortable rustic retreat! Spacious inside, large sunroom and a two sided-loft. A wrap-around deck surrounds this classic cabin, which sits on a large private lot by the lake. Wi-Fi available. Heat pump provides either air conditioning or heat. 55km/35 miles from either Yarmouth or Digby ferries.
The space This cottage has a lot to offer! The large brick fireplace is the focal point of the main room. Behind the fireplace is the kitchen with a small dining area beside. You will find a bedroom on the main floor with a double bed. Be careful of all these slanted walls, it's a true A-frame after all! Beside this bedroom is the bathroom, with a new standup shower and a bathtub. On the other end of the main floor is a very large sunroom, with amazing views of the lake. Up the classic diamond plate spiral stairs are two bedroom areas, separated by the brick chimney. On one side is a double bed and on the other side is a single bed. The cottage is equipped with a heat pump providing either air conditioning or heat, depending on the season!
Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage. There is a locked cabinet containing the water tank and the water heater. Another locked cabinet contains the electrical panel.
Other things to note The cottage has a keypad and the access code will be provided to you on the morning of your arrival (unless you need alternate options!) Wifi is included and password will be available upon your arrival. Water from drilled well. This is a non-smoking, non-vaping, non-party cottage. Due to allergies, we are unable to accommodate any pets. Fireplace not functional at the moment, do not use.
NO events of any type. Maximum 5 guests. Guests not registered as staying guests are NOT allowed on the property. We do not accept third party reservations. The person who is booking must be the one who has the Airbnb profile and account. Only ONE vehicle allowed on the property. We can accommodate for a second vehicle upon request.
