"Der Aufenthalt im Barceló Santiago war grandios. Ich empfehle selten Hotels weiter, aber dieses ist wirklich, nicht nur aufgrund der Lage, herausragend. Das Buffet ist toll mit abwechslungsreichen Themenabenden. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und sehr bemüht. Der einzige Minuspunkt war im Zimmer bei der Duschwanne zu verordnen. Diese war leicht gelblich und die Trennwand war etwas undicht. Ansonsten sehr toll!"

"The hotel and the staff were really good! As a smoker, I didn’t like that every time I wanted to smoke while I was at the pool, I had to get up from my sunbed and go to a small corner area. I would have preferred a designated sunbed section for smokers to avoid this kind of inconvenience, especially since the corner was also in the shade and windy, which wasn’t ideal. Other than that, as I said, everything else was very nice."

"Most amazing breakfast buffet I have ever seen or had the pleasure of experiencing. Staff were very friendly and welcoming the room was cleaned daily and the option of clean bedding and fresh towels every day if you wanted that. No loud music around the pool only live music sometimes with a violinist, daily aqua fit at 12.00 which was fun and a gentleman would walk around the pool with fresh fruit kebabs. Fresh towels are available for the sunbeds so no need to pack any! the hotel is in easy walking distance to bars and restaurants within 2 mins. Only thing I would say if you have any difficulty with stairs this could be an issue for you as the breakfast area and pool area is via a number of steps. I felt instantly relaxed as I walked into this hotel a real sense of calm. We arrived early due to our flight time and our room was not ready so we went for breakfast at a nearby restaurant and you have the option to use changing facilities so you can relax by the pool if you want however they called us when our room was ready and we were able to access the room at 12.00 rather than 3pm so this was fantastic. I can fully recommend this hotel as it’s quiet and peaceful if that’s what you are looking for and I can also recommend the Lava bar upon return to the hotel in the evening and the sunset bar for pre dinner drinks, we would like to thank a lady called Arnella she served us in the evening and was fun and lovely and looked after us. Looking forward to my next visit already."

"Wir hatten eine „one bedroom suite“ in der 10. Etage. Ein riesen Wohnzimmer (eigentlich mit geschätzten 60m2 zu gross), ein tolles Schlafzimmer mit Ankleide und grossem Bad, eine super Terrasse mit weltklasse Meerblick und alles sehr gepflegt. Das Hotel verfügt über sieben Restaurants. Alle nicht günstig bis sehr teuer, aber sowohl qualitativ wie auch personell absolut top. Einzig das Frühstücksbuffet war doch immer etwas sehr stark frequentiert. Da merkt man dann doch, dass das Ritz kein Boutique Hotel ist, sondern eine respektable Grösse hat. Speziell Hervorheben muss man das Personal. Grossartig und äusserst Dienstleistungsorientiert - Top. Danke und gerne wieder."

"Unfreundlich Personal an der Rezeption, Die Anlage ist zwar schön aber renovierungsbedürftig. Nutzung von Sauna und SPA ist nur nach vorheriger Anmeldung möglich und mit Zusatzkosten verbunden. Das Essen ist gut"
