„As the name suggests, this cozy B&B is literally 100 steps from the Duomo. Host Gianfranco took pains to make sure we had plenty of recommendations for dining in Arezzo and the 3 we tried were all terrific, especially Cavour 42. Museums and the Medici Fortress are a short walk away.“

Was uns jedoch enorm an Nachtruhe gestört und gekostet hat war der Glockenturm, der jede Stunde bimmelt und durch die Anordnung der Häuser enorm schallt. Die Bahnstrecke hat man ebenfalls teilweise gehört. Besonders enttäuschend war allerdings die Unverbindlichkeit der Gastgeber. Ich sollte vorher Bescheid geben, wann ich am Hotel ankomme. „Laut Info war Check- in ab 15h. Als ich um 18:15 dort ankam, war niemand vor Ort und es gab keine Information außer einer Telefonnummer. Ich habe zunächst versucht, über die Nachbarn herauszufinden, wo der Betreiber des Hotels ist. Insgesamt hat es mit warten ca. 30 Minuten gedauert, was nach einer langen Anfahrt mit dem Auto sehr unangenehm ist. Es gab keine Entschuldigung, wenn auch der Herr an der Rezeption freundlich war. Das Bett quietschte und die Matratze war ziemlich durchgelegen. ...

„This is a great accommodation. Room is spacious, comfortable and updated. Our room was above the Bistro which was great for a glass of wine at the end of the day and coffee and breakfast in the morning. Visit the Brolio Castle for great valley views. Wine tasting at Ricasoli is excellent. Everyone we dealt with were friendly and helpful. Finally Osteria Brolio the on site restaurant is worth trying good food well prepared. Overall very positive experience highly recommend you visit and stay.“

„Excellent stay at this property. It's a family owned building with charming hosts Ferdinando and Valentino. The picture shown is the beautiful terrace where one sits for breakfast or to simply contemplate life. Spotlessly clean rooms, comfortable bed, everything you need. Close to Arezzo train station and within easy waking distance of the center of Arezzo, with many dining/shopping options. We had no trouble finding free street parking. Highly recommend this place!“
