„Beautiful historic home just steps away from downtown. Very well restored. Joy greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. Located up on a hill plus we were on the second floor, the views were incredible. Would definitely stay here again. On a side note, this home is for sale and they no longer provide breakfast. The Las Animas Grill has excellent breakfast. “

„This place was a little motel-like. It’s a 90 yr old building that has some wear and tear but the bed was super comfy and the kitchen, although compact, had a ton of cooking items! We didn’t use it because Mille (!) is literally a one minute walk away and worth every step!! We also walked to doqntown so easily! Great location!“

„Place was very clean and easy to get to. Unit was comfortable. We ended up having the little one sleep in a pack and play in the kitchen. No door to the bedroom but we made it work. Area is great and very walkable. Would love to come back when the weather behves“

„We can't say enough good things about this B&B. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were cozy and quaint. Fireplace use is amazing and the rooms were very large. Our room had a bathroom that was disconnected (read the fine print) but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast in the morning was FANTASTIC!! “

„Clean, well-organized space close to the plaza. The unit is quiet. The minisplit puts out quite a bit of light at night, so eyeshades might be in order for sleeping. Also, as advertised, there is no clothes washer or dishwasher, which might be wanted for longer stays. Being able to adjust the thermostat might also be needed for longer stays--the gas fire is automated, and instructions are clear to keep the thermostat set at 70F. Great communication with the owner/managers. “

„Imagine grandparents, adult children and gran children all having their own casita in the same area with everything you need. The kids played “neighbors” and had so much fun. „ Small details made all the difference! First aid kit, ice cube trays, & an actual hair dryer (not dinky hotel kind) were appreciated. We really enjoyed sipping coffee on the front porch & making fires in the evening. Only things that could make it even cozier would be an extra blanket and tea bags. Would stay here again! “

The host had everything from a CD collection to Chinese Books to art history to more! I will say that I tried the code a couple of times and could not seem to time the door right.
